The monumental charcuterie board, certified by Guinness World Records’ Andrew Glass, was an extraordinary feat of culinary art, made possible by Bizerba’s cutting-edge weighing technology. Bizerba’s Retail Service Technician, Paul Williams, meticulously calibrated two scales on-site, ensuring each weight was recorded with absolute precision, crucial to the successful world record certification.

Williams worked closely with the Central Market team, ensuring each of the 324 individual weights was accurately recorded. His careful attention to detail, including accounting for the tare weights of non-food items like bowls, platters, and trays, ensured the validity of this record-setting attempt.

The event was not just about breaking records but also about community and giving back. After the attempt, much of the food was served to Central Market guests and team members, with a generous portion being donated to the Central Texas Food Bank, ensuring that nothing went to waste.

As Central Market celebrated its 30th year of bringing gourmet food to Texas, this event showcased not only their creativity but also the power of collaboration and precision. The charcuterie board brought the community together, highlighting the essential role of technology in achieving such feats.

Bizerba is proud to have contributed to this historic achievement and remains committed to supporting the food industry with cutting-edge technology, precision, and innovation in future milestones. For more information on Bizerba’s products and how we help businesses achieve their goals, visit Bizerba.com.
