The EU is tightening its cybersecurity requirements. With the adoption of the NIS2 Directive, the member states had to adapt their national laws by October 2024. Affected companies should now implement the measures promptly, most of them by the end of 2025. What is NIS2?

NIS2 (Network and Information Security Directive) obliges companies to secure their systems according to clear standards. These include risk analyses, emergency and business continuity plans, secure supply chains, incident reports within 24 hours and continuous updates. Violations can result in severe penalties - up to €10 million or 2% of global turnover.
